NoobTube Server Rules
01 GENERAL CONDUCT Be respectful to all players and staff. Keep chat and voice channels clean. CLICK FOR DETAILS +
1 English only in global chat CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Global chat must be English so everyone (and staff) can understand what is being said.

Example: Two players use another language in global chat for a full conversation.

Allowed: Other languages in team chat or private chat.
×Not allowed: Non-English conversations in global chat.
2 Do not accuse players of cheating in chat. Use a ticket CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Publicly calling someone a cheater in global chat is not allowed. If you suspect cheating, report it through the support/ticket system so staff can investigate properly.

Example: Saying “PlayerX is hacking” or “Admin check PlayerY, he’s cheating” in global chat instead of opening a ticket.

Allowed: Submitting a report with evidence through the ticket system or Discord support.
×Not allowed: Public cheating accusations or repeatedly spamming chat claiming players are cheating.
3 No cheating, exploiting, scripting, or ban evasion CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Anything that gives an unfair advantage, abuses a bug, uses third-party tools, or returns on alternate accounts is not allowed.

Example: Recoil scripts/macros, ESP/aim assist, duplication bugs, abusing a monument bug for loot, or playing on an alternate account after being banned.

Allowed: Normal settings and normal mouse/keyboard use.
×Not allowed: Scripts/macros, ESP, exploits, alternate accounts to avoid bans.
4 No racism, harassment or hate speech CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Slurs, discrimination, targeted harassment, threats, or sharing personal information are not allowed.

Example: Using slurs, telling someone to self-harm, threatening someone, or sharing a player’s real-life details.

Allowed: Normal PvP banter without slurs or threats.
×Not allowed: Slurs, threats, doxxing, targeted harassment.
5 Excessive toxicity may lead to punishment CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Constant abuse, spam, or ongoing targeted behaviour that ruins chat or harasses players may be punished.

Example: Following a player in chat for a long period insulting them every time they speak, or spamming abuse repeatedly.

Allowed: Short “gg”, “unlucky”, light trash talk.
×Not allowed: Repeated abuse, spam, harassment campaigns.
6 No Player or Staff Impersonation CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Impersonating another player or a staff member by copying names, identities, or pretending to be someone else is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.

Example: Changing your Steam name to match another player currently online, pretending to be staff/admins, or attempting to mislead players using fake identities.

Allowed: Legitimate clan/team tags between actual teammates.
× Not allowed: Copying player names, staff identities, or pretending to be another player for any reason.
02 BAN POLICY Cheating, exploiting or ban evasion will result in a permanent ban. CLICK FOR DETAILS +
1 VAC/game bans under 365 days are not allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: If your VAC or game ban is newer than 365 days, you cannot play on this server.

Example: A Rust ban from 4 months ago means you are not allowed.

2 More than one VAC/game ban is not allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Accounts with multiple VAC or game bans are not allowed, even if the bans are old.

Example: Two old VAC bans from years ago means you are not allowed.

03 BASES & GRIEFING No intentional blocking, permanent sealing, or griefing without reason. CLICK FOR DETAILS +
1 No permanent base griefing or sealing CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: You can raid, but you cannot permanently trap a base just to ruin it.

Example: Replacing doors/locks and leaving the base sealed so the owner cannot rebuild.

Allowed: Normal raiding and taking loot.
×Not allowed: Leaving the base locked/sealed permanently.
2 Doors and tool cupboards must be unlocked after raids CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Do not leave your locks or codes on someone’s base or their tool cupboard after the raid.

Example: You raid, place a new lock/code, then log off leaving them sealed out.

3 Foundation wiping is allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Fully destroying all foundations is allowed and claims the spot.

Example: You remove every foundation so nothing remains.

4 Temporary raid sealing is allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Players are allowed to temporarily seal breaches, replace walls, doors, or building pieces during raids and counters. If building pieces become permanent due to Rust’s build timer, this is not automatically considered griefing.

Example: Sealing a breach during an online raid or while defending counters is allowed. Intentionally leaving a base sealed, blocked, or trapped purely to grief the owner after the raid is not.

Allowed: Normal raid sealing, replacing walls, securing loot rooms, and defending raid positions.
× Not allowed: Intentionally grief sealing bases to permanently block, trap, or ruin them after the raid is over.
5 Reasonable base proximity is allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: You can build near others if you are not blocking access or trapping them.

Example: Building close enough to block exits/doors or forcing turret lines onto them.

6 No blocking safe zones CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Do not restrict access to safe zones using walls, turrets, traps, or SAM sites.

Example: Walling entrances or turret-trapping routes into Outpost or Bandit Camp.

7 Raid bases must decay CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Raid bases are allowed, but leave them unlocked so they can decay after use.

Example: Building a raid base beside someone’s base, then keeping it locked and maintained for days so you can keep fighting from it.

8 Vehicles and quarries are free to take CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Vehicles and quarry control are contestable — they are not protected by grief rules.

Example: Taking over a quarry or stealing a car or tugboat is allowed.

9 Loot despawning is not allowed CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Intentionally dumping, hiding, or despawning loot from raided bases is considered griefing.

Example: Throwing loot into bushes, the ocean, or despawning items instead of properly looting them.

Allowed: Taking the loot you want during raids.
× Not allowed: Despawning or intentionally hiding loot to deny it from players.
10 Locked containers are your responsibility CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Raiders are permitted to destroy locked boxes and containers to gain access to loot.

Example: Locking boxes inside your base and losing loot because raiders destroy the containers to access them.

Allowed: Destroying locked containers during raids.
× Not allowed: Requesting refunds for loot lost inside destroyed locked containers.
11 No Mass Offlining CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Raiding and offlining are part of Rust. However, excessive overnight mass offlining that harms server growth, wipes progression, or pushes players off the server is not acceptable and may result in punishment.

Example: Overnight raiding large numbers of offline bases across the server purely to wipe progression or force players to quit the wipe.

Allowed: Normal raiding and occasional offline raids.
× Not allowed: Excessive overnight mass offlining intended to damage server progression or force players off the server.
04 TEAM RULES No teaming outside the team limit. No ally stacking. CLICK FOR DETAILS +
1 Do not exceed the server’s team limit (including offline members) CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Your total group size must never exceed the team limit listed for that server, even if some members are offline.

Example: On a Duo server, rotating a third player into the same base during the wipe. On a Quad server, rotating a fifth player.

2 No alliances or coordinated teaming CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: You can be friendly, but you cannot coordinate raids, fights, or roaming with another team.

Example: Two teams roaming together, fighting together, or raiding together as a combined group.

3 Remove bags, codes, and auth when swapping CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: If you swap members, remove access so old members are not still effectively part of the team.

Example: Removing a player from the group but leaving their sleeping bag access, door codes, turret access, or tool cupboard access in place.

4 Team limit violations = full team punishment CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: If the team breaks the server’s team limit, all members are held responsible.

Example: Saying “It wasn’t me” after exceeding the team limit will still result in punishment for the entire group.

5 No unauthorized base access CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Players outside your team are not permitted inside your base or allowed access to view, store, or transfer loot.

Example: Letting non-team players enter your base, view loot rooms, use bags, or move items between bases.

Allowed: Trading only within safe zones such as Outpost.
× Not allowed: Allowing non-team players access to your base, loot, or storage.
6 No transportation assistance outside your team CLICK FOR DETAILS +

Meaning: Players outside your team are not permitted to assist with transportation, travel, or extraction using vehicles or mounts.

Example: Picking up non-team players with a minicopter, transporting players to raids, or helping players escape fights using vehicles.

Allowed: Normal travel and transportation within your own team.
× Not allowed: Transporting or assisting players outside your team using vehicles or mounts.
